    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because biochemistry is essential if you want to go to professional school related to the health sciences. This class moves quickly because a survey of biochemistry is crunched into one semester. At the same time, I don't think you would want to take two semester worth of biochemistry so I was thankful that everything was in one semester. You need to read before class to get anything out of lecture and lecture is not a substitute for reading.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are that if you put in the time to memorize the things you need to, you will do well on the test. The professor summarizes the important things from the previous lecture at the beginning of class and you can expect that those things will be on the test. The tests are curved generously and there are bonus points for homework. However, it is still difficult to get an A in this class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to put in a lot of time to learn the material yourself, read the book,
