Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interesting course and Professor Griffin is great. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and each topic covered. He also provides great reading to supplement the lectures.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade and the differences between slavery in areas such as Brazil and the Caribbean versus slavery in North America. Professor Griffin makes sure to highlight influential people. You also read an amazing book called Kindred by Octavia Butler.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the assigned readings before class so that you can participate in class discussions. Participation is ten percent of your final grade.
