    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even though this is a massive class(over 400 students), Dr. Staub is an amazing professor to help every student learn the material. Dr. Staub or on of the many TAs, ULAs, or peer tutors is always available to help.

    Course highlights:

I learned the complexity of how little things that happen in society have such chain reactions on the economy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a study group, and help each other with content.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Balaban's class is flipped classroom, so it requires a lot of preparation before class. If you have the self-motivation to learn the material beforehand, then you will do great in the class! Requires about 5 hours per week of studying.

    Course highlights:

I took this course as a pre requisite for Health Policy and Management. Good intro course to see if you're interested in econ.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material beforehand, review her powerpoint and do the practice problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I had already taken AP macroeconomics and got a 5 on the AP for it. This class is supposed to be Macro and Micro and ended up being extremely hard because the professor was not consistent with terms and even answered one of the practice midterm questions wrong during a review session. Instead of changing the answer to what he ended up at along with the rest of the class, he said, of I guess the other one is the better answer.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were going to recitation because the TAs knew how to teach for the most part.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it with another professor definitely.
