    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an interesting and important class to all science majors. Organic chemistry is definitely not an easy class, but as long as you put effort into studying, you will do well

    Course highlights:

The professor made the policy that if the final is better than all of the midterms, the final grade can be determined only based on the final. This was a great motivation for me at the time, since I was struggling earlier in the semester. This policy gave me the motivation to keep going, and eventually I achieved an A.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is no shortcut in studying, especially for this class. Put all your effort into it. It is time-consuming, but you will get your reward at the end. The professor is very approachable, so make sure you visit his numerous office hours and study sessions if there is any question.
