    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an interesting introduction to liberal arts college, and I feel like it gives you good insight about the intersectionality of feminism. However, be prepared for a lot of discussion.

    Course highlights:

Great discussions were had in this class, as well as interesting readings! I learned about the intersectionality of feminism, and how to transform my white feminism into one of international and intersectionality.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the readings and go to recitation!

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it offers a different perspective on current issues regarding gender equality and cultural appropriation. This class is definitely an eye-opener as it is relevant to reality and it applies to everything.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed this course as it gave me more knowledge on the history of women, making me more confident in fighting for women's rights and equality. I learned a more philosophical approach to situations rather than the scientific way which was the majority of my college major.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to attend the class, because the professor is what makes the course even better and real. The professors are usually women within diaspora or have been involved in approaching women's issues.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Women's studies covers many interesting, relevant, and IMPORTANT topics. It increases your awareness of these issues as well as opens your mind to other perspectives.

    Course highlights:

It began with a summary of the history of women's movements and of feminist theory. We then moved into a discussion of biological and societal definitions of sex and gender. The next unit focused on body image and the portrayal of women's and men's bodies in media. The final unit was a sensitive but important topic, and focused on issues of gender and interpersonal violence and sexual assault.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you keep up with the readings, and keep an open mind.
