    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it introduced me to a different learning style than what I was used to, which was refreshing. The professor was also very conversational and allowed us to express our thoughts during class. You learn a lot about the history of slavery in Britain and the British Islands that you probably wouldn't have known otherwise.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I gained the confidence to speak up and say what was on my mind. We also had to give an oral presentation, so that helped me feel more comfortable speaking in public. I also met a few amazing people who I am still friends with to this day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings before class, but don't try to read everything at once. Participate as much as possible and make sure to talk to the professor if you have any questions or issues with the assignments.
