    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor goes at an overall good pace of teaching in my opinion and gives plenty of examples and time for work he gives us. He is a very reasonable person and explains the process for writing programs, but he's more of a show then tell person which makes some of us frustrated. Then again, programming is one of those things you need to just keep doing until you know it.

    Course highlights:

Making short programs for fun! Stuff like simple calculators built in java is a good work in progress.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to follow along when he makes his programs, otherwise, you'll fall behind and have no idea why a certain line of code is necessary or how it works. And read the textbook, since he doesn't always explain everything.
