    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a fun and interesting course that involves some basic Java coding that you learn in 1213. The professor has a very good understanding of the material and at the end of every lecture everything he says will just come together and make sense. There are 3 HW assignments, 3 projects, a midterm, and a final.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to utilize different data structures such as a Queue, Stack, Binary Search Tree, and more. I learned how to implement them into Java programs.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the programming assignments, do the homework, and go to his review sessions. He literally tells you what will be on the exams. You don't have to go to every class but there will be some classes that are very important and you should go to them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Jugan is the best instructor I have had at UNCC. He is very thorough at explaining complex concepts and he makes lecture very interesting. He is also a pretty funny guy and you will never be bored in his class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to create data structures that are very scalable. I learned how to optimize my code and the course made me a much better programmer overall. Professor Jugan also applied some concepts to game development which interested me personally.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay attention and do the programming assignments ahead of time. Make sure you actually know what you are doing. There is nothing worse than a program that is 500+ lines of code that could have been written in less than 50. The point is to get the job done correctly and efficiently.
