    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bullock is an amazing professor! She is extremely funny, light hearted, and kind. Not to mention, Dr. Bullock is extremely knowledgeable, and is always wiling to lend a hand. Be prepared to put in a lot of work though!

    Course highlights:

Dr. Bullock is extremely personable. She wants to get to know her students individually, and is genuinely interested in helping students reach their academic/personal goals. I learned to study harder than I have before, and more importantly how to ask for help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read, read! Reading is extremely important in this course, because tests are very specific and difficult. Also, take careful notes and pay attention to off topic points she says in class. Lastly, find a study partner!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Cao offers a great introductory course for biology majors. It gives students the opportunity to see how challenging the upper level courses can be. If you can do well in this course then the rest of the classes will be breeze. It is certainly worth the effort.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course include evolution and difficult chapter on plant physiology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take it! I may seem hard but it a good introduction to college. Most students are not accustomed to studying. This class will force you to find some study skills that you can use throughout the rest of your academic career.
