Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a good class for a very basic overview of theater. The teacher is passionate about what he does. The class is not very difficult and there are only two tests for the semester. You do have to attend a theater show and a film screening and write two papers, but they are not very long.

    Course highlights:

The large class allows for great discussions on topics that come up in class. We all have to write about a weekly "theatrical current event" that is then discussed in class. This class is very very basic in its theater terminology and ideas. We have to read plays as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to come to class unless you get a friend to take notes for you because you need the notes to succeed in the class. If you need a filler class, this is not hard or time-consuming so I recommend it.
