Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a great teacher because he thoroughly breaks down the information so you can easily understand it. He goes through many examples of problems that you will be tested on and shows you how to work through each part of the question. Extra help is offered in case you need tutoring.

    Course highlights:

This course mostly focuses on probabilities and percentages of specific outcomes. It consists of a lot of different formulas, but they are pretty straight forward and not too difficult to identify which formula should be used in what circumstance. I learned how this type of math is used to determine significant trends in populations and how it is an important concept in the real world by applying them to real world problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to do well in this course, it is mandatory that you practice as much as you can. It can be overwhelming. But if you start off strong in the beginning, you will find that the concepts will make sense. It gets harder as the course progresses, so if you find yourself struggling at the beginning get tutoring as soon as you can to keep on track so it'll be much easier for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very enjoyable for me! My professor did everything he could to make the class an exciting learning experience. Statistics is required for most majors so almost everyone will have to take it anyway. So I suggest taking it from Dr. Robert Lindsey. He is by far the best math teacher I have ever had throughout all my years of school. Even from kindergarten. I loved the course and plan on taking the next level of stats with Dr. Lindsay next semester.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basics of statistics. We used the bell curve a lot and it was a real eye opener. Suddenly we were using the things we learned in high school to actually solve real life problems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework and go to class. That is the main thing that counts toward your grade. Honestly if you just pay attention in class you will realize that it's not even that hard. My professor found new ways for us to actually apply the material so that it didn't seem useless to the students. So just stay motivated and it will be great!
