    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Amin is a very knowledgeable teacher who is very passionate about what she does. This class is a general studies class that is not too in depth, but a great overall idea about different types of dance and their origins. My class was at least one hundred people and everyone's opinions made the class more interesting.

    Course highlights:

I took this class to fulfill a general education/ elective credit. We learned all about different dance styles, their origins, what makes up dance, how to describe dance, and many other things. I enjoyed learning about dances from all over the world, not just one area.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class with Dr. Amin you need to come to class in order to do the attendance activities. You also need to take notes and do the online quizzes on time. If you pay attention and do this, you will succeed in her class.

    Advice for students:

Enjoy it! I had never taken a dance class or have danced as a sport, but I learned so many interesting things about the history of dance and it was so much fun!
