    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Dolmatova has standards and she will push you to meet her standards which will make you a better writer and have higher standards for yourself. I learned to meet a deadline after I took her class.

    Course highlights:

Learning about different literary theories, which translated over to different ways to approach and think about a text. I learned how to meet a deadline and manage my time properly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Arrive on time, do the reading, and meet the deadlines. Professor Dolmatova will not take any excuses for a late paper, even good reasons. Read the syllabus and essay requirements this includes the little stuff. Formatting your paper using MLA 7 instead of MLA 8 will get points taken off of your paper. Make the time to meet the teacher after class it will help you receive a higher grade and figure out what part of the essay writing process you need to work on. If you work hard you can achieve an A in the class.
