    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Taylor is a very good teacher. He takes his time and works through every problem fully so that you are able to learn the information

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were finally being able to learn concepts, such as related rates, that have taken me three years to finally grasp.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch all the supplemental video that he provides, take notes, and most of all work through problems so that you gain experience doing them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Taylor is an excellent teacher. He understands course material and knows how to present it in a way easy for students to learn the information.

    Course highlights:

Calculus 1 is all about taking derivatives of functions. This course assisted me with problem-solving skills necessary for my engineering courses and introduced me to information included in my physics course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One piece of advice I would highly recommend when taking this course would be to write down how to solve a homework problem on paper rather than on a whiteboard. This allows you to go back and see how you solved a problem and increases your chances of understanding course material and performing well in the class.
