    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you get to learn about North Carolina in a whole new different light. It's history is amazing and the professor is quite intrigued in knowing Southern history and how it ties with the United States' founding and culture.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the history of North Carolina, race, major battles in North Carolina, and the making of Charlotte.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say know your vocabulary terms that he assigns from the books assigned to the class because that is what his midterm and final exam are about. His final writing assignment: know your topic and start looking for research immediately. He assigns oral presentations on your final paper topic, so be prepared!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is full of information about North Carolina and the professor will help you write the final paper required in his class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was to fully understand how North Carolina became what it is today such as becoming a colony, slavery, jim crow, and how Charlotte was reconstructed during time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you need to fully read the texts he required, know the vocabulary terms he assigns, study for the online quizzes, and prepare yourself for the tests and final paper.
