    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend taking this if you already qualify for general chemistry one. This course with this teacher is incredibly difficult because of how the curriculum is set up. The teacher is not there to help, they are there to assess you. Small mistakes cost a lot in this course.

    Course highlights:

I did get to revisit my knowledge of chemistry. It had been years since I had been in a chemistry class and I needed the refresher, but I did qualify for CHEM 1251. It was smart of me to take 1200 because I did learn the basics of chemistry. It was not easy to pass the course though, not because of a lack of knowledge on the lessons, but because of the harsh grading methods.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have some efficiency in chemistry already go straight to CHEM 1251. Unless there is a different professor, it is not worth it.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this class, especially if you didn't have a good chemistry education in high school. This course prepares you so well for Chem 1251. Everything you learn in this class will get you through majority of the semester in Chem 1251.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the basic information I would need for future chemistry's.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY. STUDY. STUDY. The conceptual part of the class is the hardest. Just make sure to get that down first and foremost.
