    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a challenging class. It requires hard work and determination. Also, it requires lots of outside studying. You will need to retain information learned in the beginning of the course because it will be used throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that subjects were fully explained during the lecture and notes. Almost all the information in the notes given are on the exams. I learned to study my notes and do lots and lots of practice. Doing practice problems will definitely improve your exam scores.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Study! Study!!! Also, pay attention in class during the lecture notes, this will be essential to your success in this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course gives you a basic but strong understanding of molecular chemistry. It also sets you up for harder classes such as thermodynamics or organic chemistry. Although it was one of the hardest courses on my schedule, it was rewarding because of what I gained from the experience not only from the chemistry but from time management experience.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was the unit about energy and thermodynamics. It sparked my imagination and gave me ideas about an invention I wanted to create. Furthermore, Professor Michael was a great teacher and really invested in her students if they decided to approach her. She was very understanding and encouraging.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook before class! It is your job to take ownership of your education and learn. This class is great and you will learn a lot, but you need to WANT to be there. The level of difficulty is not easy, but by being proactive and studying in advance before the exams, it will be worth the struggle.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this professor. He cracked jokes, was good natured, and really knew what he was talking about.

    Course highlights:

There is a ton going on in this class. It starts off relatively easy and like most classes gets harder as the semester progresses. We learned way too much to list here. Lots of measurements, types of bonds, how/why reactions occur...

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I didn't study nearly enough for this class and actually needed to retake it. Study...a lot. Do the practice questions, read the text, get a study group. Don't take this course lightly and DO NOT get behind and you should be ok.
