    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very very difficult course if you haven't had calculus or math in a while. But the teachers are cool!

    Course highlights:

Mainly about intergrals and the area of volume inside a mapped graph.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Do the homework! They aren't mandatory, but they help you get practice in!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is an excellent professor whose main desire is to ensure that her students learn the material. Through her lessons, she was able to clearly explain the material and filled each moment with an upbeat attitude. She was also very willing to assist outside of class time with any questions I had. I would hands down recommend this class to anyone who had to take the subject. The work she assigns isn't busy work. In my case I found it wasn't enough to truly grasp the material but luckily she has extra credit problems for each week as extra practice. Not only did the problems boost my grade but they ultimately helped make each topic clearer to me.

    Course highlights:

Partial Derivatives and Triple Integrals were in my opinion the best thing in class to learn. If you had these down pat then the majority of the class was a cinch. The Partial Derivatives came up in many formulas, ie. Langrange Multipliers, Gradient vectors, Max and Mins, as well as Linear Approximations etc. By understanding Triple Integrals, Integrals and Double Integrals were a piece of cake. It also helps in the formula's for Double Integrals over Polar Coordinates and over General Regions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare yourself to work hard for this class. If math comes easily to you then this class will be a breeze. If your like me though and its a little difficult, you just really need to make time for the homework and the extra credit problems. It is a lot, but in the end you will be so glad you did them. It keeps your grades steady and it helps get a firmer understanding of the material. If you have any questions, SEEK OUT THE TEACHER. Her office hours are pretty decent and depending on your class times she is willing to work around for meetings that fit your schedule. But definitely take her, you will not regret it.
