    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Lindsey is quite the character. He understands that math is a hated subject and because of that, he makes this class extremely enjoyable with his never-ending jokes and ample help.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If math is a strong subject for you, then you should be okay in this course. We often ran behind during the course, so deadlines could be somewhat confusing. The course materials online and what was covered in class did not always match and the way the problems were presented in both were very different and it could be confusing.

    Course highlights:

linear equations, quadratic equations, exponents, square roots, graphing, logarithms, functions; if you have had algebra before this course will be a review, if not take advantage of study sessions and tutoring.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class because you never know when there will be a pop quiz or when the instructor will take attendance. Attendance does not affect your grade as much as the pop quiz-miss those and it hurts. I found that out the hard way and my nice little pad I had built up went away. I still made an "A" in the course but was sweating it all over missing a class.
