    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's necessary for entering the medical field and helps to have hands on experience with learning and retaining information for future professions and daily life.

    Course highlights:

The importance of having study groups and reviewing for retention.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

HAVE STUDY GROUPS. There is no better way to succeed than to have a group of people with similar interest and goals to support, push, and motivate you throughout the process.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

By taking this course, students get to learn about the human body and how it works, but if you are not willing to work, you do not need to take this course because you will NOT succeed.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me realize that I wanted to be a nurse practitioner. I already knew I wanted to become a nurse practitioner, but this course made me want to commit to actually becoming a nurse.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course, you need to go ahead and tell yourself that it will be a hard test, and that making a B in the class will be a great grade, because a lot of students do not even pass it and if they do pass, it is with a low C or D.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Great class, I learned a ton. Tomlin separates students into teams to assist with the learning process. It can be hard, don't get me wrong but overall if you keep up with your work it's a great course.

    Course highlights:

We learned everything from how different toxins effect the body to the physiological reasoning behind different disease.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a requirement for nursing students at UNCG but if you are ready to put in the work it ends up being a fun course.
