    Course Overview:

    This course presents a survey of the operations functions of organizations with emphasis on the design and control decisions. This includes a study of the qualitative and quantitative problem-solving methods used to enhance managerial competence in the operations function.

    Course highlights:

    • Provide a basic understanding of the production/operations function of an organization and its relationship to the rest of the organization. • Provide a basic understanding of the major decision areas, support systems, and tools used to solve the problems and provide decision-making information for production/operations management. • Provide an opportunity to apply some of the tools and techniques used for production/operations management problems.

    6-8 hours

    For this course you must need to do your readings, mine was an online course so I cannot suggest anything about in class preparation.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I am taking this course online. The teacher offers videos to help you understand the material better. You also use the Pearson Lab in this course and it has videos to help you understand how to do the math problems.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the supply chain and how to read the supply chain maps.

    The quizzes are tough and have a time limit.
