    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would highly recommend this course to other students. This business communication course taught and equipped me with various skills to compete within the industry. The skills I learned include strategy formulation, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making. Professor Garrett helped me apply these skills to writing business memos and performing presentations.

    Course highlights:

    One of the major highlights of Business Communications was to understand the importance of effective communication within the industry. After successfully completing this course, I was able to create and execute well-developed business presentations. Another highlight from this course was the learning of ethical decision making and the development of multi-sensitive oral presentations.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    After taking Business Communications, the advice I would give students considering this course is to embrace and utilize the course materials to further develop their communication and public speaking skills. As a result, students will manifest their cultural sensitivity and effectiveness in the global business industry.
