    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's required for graduation, but the way they teach is distasteful and not helpful at all to the students. Please stay on top of your work and get help from tutors and TAs.

    Course highlights:

I gained of sense of the use of statistics and research in psychology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    GET A TUTOR EARLY!!! STUDY!!!!!!!!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course reviewed algebraic properties learned in previous math courses. It was unorganized.

    Course highlights:

I learned many new statistical equations that apply to current experimental research.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch all supplemental videos and take really good notes. The instructor allows you to use your notes on quizzes and exams.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would just like to advise anyone taking this course- to focus on it as much as possible. Above your other classes. This is the core class of the Psychology major at UNCG, and Psy 311 after it.

    Course highlights:

I didn't even know statistics was such a big part of psychology. It is important for the research aspect of it.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Trust me, the fail rate is high for first-timers, and I did too. Spend the time on this class. Do all of the practice lessons. Use your office hours. I regret not doing so.
