    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The overall topic of Developmental Psychology is very interesting, in my opinion. It is obvious that Dr. Erb really loves this field of Psychology which helped make the class more bearable. It is lecture style, which I generally have a harder time in, so Dr. Erb's teaching style really helps.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite topics was in the emotion, temperament, and personality chapter. One mini topic is called social referencing. It is when babies learn how to react to different situations based on how their caregivers react to the situation. For example, the famous visual cliff. Most babies decide whether or not they should be afraid of the "drop" on their mothers reaction to the "drop". This says a lot about how our actions can have a major influence on children and how they perceive people, objects, places etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say go to class and rewrite your notes after class. Attendance is not taken so it is very easy to skip it. But there is no better way to reinforce material than to hear it in class, take notes while in class, and then the next day rewriting the notes. This helps you to retain the information because you wont be seeing the information once.

She's vet funny. Learned a lot about how the past affects our current and future selves

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class cause she sometimes gives extra credit for attending and her lectures aren't complete so you need to be in class for that.
