Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course covered the history of the world to 1500 in a comprehensive way. Dr. Beem is also eager to help students succeed.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the film review, where we learned how historical films are not always accurate in their representation of history.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the lecture outlines and stay on Dr. Beem's good side. He hates cell phones!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

only for the reason that if you are not a history major or if history is not your strong suit this will be a difficult class to pass.

    Course highlights:

the one highlight with the class is that is the professor would give you an extension on work outside of the class if you needed it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

if you are a history major this is the class for you but, if not then go to your advisor and see if there are any history classes for non-history majors.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class itself was very interesting, especially the way Dr. Johnson tells the different history. He teaches almost like he's telling a very long story, and it keeps me really intrigued. Also, he's very lenient. He'll work with you when you need it, to the best ability. The only hard part about his class is the years. But if you take good notes and pay attention in class, you'll do well.

    Course highlights:

I gained a very in depth view on topics like World War 1 and 2, as well as people you've never heard of, and it's really cool to learn behind the scenes information about these world events.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to class and pay attention, and try your best to absorb all the information and make sense of it as you see fit.
