Always Do the Reading
Many Small Assignments
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course was a great, interactive study of eastern cultures and their beliefs and traditions, through the lens of religious studies. There was always an even amount of class participation and discussion with regard to guided lectures. This approach of opening the floor for discussion and inviting students to speak and contribute new insights and interpretations of the text not only made class immensely more interesting, but also furnished a learning environment which constantly asked us to speak out, ask questions, and consider our own beliefs and insights in the subject.
I learned, above all else, the importance of participation and the willingness to contribute your own ideals and views in the classroom.

Advice for students:
Be willing to spend time reading, and approach each new religious study with an open mind; forgoing any preconceived assumptions, or ethnocentric ideologies.
