    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

An incredibly difficult but thought-provoking class!

    Course highlights:

A class on Young Adult Literature sounds easy, but because of the easier reading level, you're reading many books. In addition to that, you were required to apply collegiate level theory while analyzing these books. It's quite difficult, but I enjoyed this class thoroughly. I wasn't really sure what to expect with this class, but I found it incredibly interesting and intellectual.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do more than just the reading required--bring interesting ideas, theories, and opinions to discuss on what you read to the class discussion. Sweeney really valued students who participated frequently in the discussion and welcomed any opinion--so long as you could expand on your thought.
