Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Being aware of the history of the world you live in adds character and individuality to a person. To know history is to know the story. To know the story is to know not to repeat the evil things that have happened. History provides knowledge, power, and prevention. Professor Hart does not just tell the winner's side, but the "loser's" side as well.

    Course highlights:

As with any course, the highlight was listening to the side comments of the professor. Learning someone else's opinion allows the receiving individual to open up their mind to other possibilities. When there are more open minded people in the world, there are more chances for peace and acceptance. Throughout the course, I Iearned how to write notes in a large lecture hall, listen for details, and write detailed essays. If I could take this class again, I absolutely would.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, a student should hand-write their notes in class and type their notes after class to fully understand the lecture for that day. Professor Hart only says material that you could possibly be tested on, so staying engaged in class is extremely important.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a rigorous class. You must learn how to sit still and take notes for over an hour. I did learn about history in more details.

    Course highlights:

Expanding my knowledge on certain historical facts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you like to read and write. Also you need to learn how to pay attention for prolonged periods of time. He grades pretty fairly with his TAs.
