    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because she teaches from experiences that as future teachers, we are going to experience for ourselves in the future. She also loves to teach and she expresses that in ways that inspired me want to become a better teacher for my future students.

    Course highlights:

A lot of the material we covered was about education and diversity and how the two are related. I enjoyed learning about new cultures as well as their education system. I gained insight into the social aspect of teaching throughout this course as well. The main insight that I gained from this class is that teaching goes far beyond the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I could give for this course is to participate in the class discussion. Dr. Sanchez rewarded those who spoke up in class. Also it was interesting to hear the opinions of my fellow classmates. In college, you will be introduced to people from all walks of life, so to be able to have a guided discussion on various topics in education was very helpful in my opinion. I learned a lot about the people who I could potentially be teaching with in the future.
