    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Godwin is very friendly and high energy. She likes hearing feedback from the class. Her lectures are clear and as long as you pay attention and review your notes, the exam will be easy. She has a strict no phone policy. There are quizzes and three essays throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

    The class taught all about personality/culture development, and how societal factors influence a person's lifestyle. It really increases insight and allows better understanding of other peoples' perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Attend class, take notes, pay attention.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    This course was interesting and allowed me to understand the relationship between individuals and society. The professor did a wonderful job of covering all topics to their fullest extent.

    Course highlights:

    My professor was amazing and kind. This course taught me about all the ways humans shape society and society shapes individuals.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You should go to every class and outside of class you need to devote some time to studying. If you can find a study group it helps a lot with staying motivated and gives you a chance to discuss things and hear input from many different sources.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Mrs. Godwin is a phenomenal teacher who puts massive amounts of effort into creating an easily understood course. This course is an introduction to sociology and therefore covers an extraordinary amount of material, but if you attend class and pay attention it should be easy. Godwin also gives numerous opportunities for extra credit which can highly improve your grade. If you put in the work you will do great in this course.

    Course highlights:

    Professor Godwin is truly an amazing professor who cares about her students and will listen if you need help. This course was a great stepping stone and has me well prepared for future sociology courses.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    The best way to do well in this class is to put your phone down, pay attention and do a little bit of studying everyday to keep the material fresh in your mind.
