Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a great teacher for such a difficult subject. She gives optional book homework which is paramount to doing well on the tests.

    Course highlights:

We learned too much to write here. The main part of this course is the formulas and math.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Optional book homework is key. Don't put off studying until the end and ask plenty of questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course! As someone who came into this University with no Chemistry courses in the past 3 years, this course helped me in so many ways. I never thought I would get back on track so easily with Chemistry but this professor and course proved me wrong. With the labs and lectures, it applied the material to real world problems to help me better understand the material.

    Course highlights:

When taking Chemistry, especially when you are going into a Medical profession, you often find yourself wondering why I have to take this stuff. This course showed me why. It showed me how doctors use the material and how without Chemistry, we wouldn't have all of the technology and cures we have today.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack off. If you miss one little detail, you will fall so far behind and it is very difficult to get back on track where you need to be. Pay attention during lectures and don't let your lab partner do all the work during labs. Take advantage of all extra credit and practice, practice, practice!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is very hard and has an accompanying lab. It's time consuming and the material is difficult. If you can stay away from it do. However teaching methods used in said course do match exams.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the elements proved to be the simplest and only task I was able to grasp. What they are, and what there masses are, or at least how to find them and that information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for all nighters studying and make sure you study, study, study. Its no easy task to master the knowledge that is chemistry. Be ready to firmly believe in the failure of yourself.
