    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was very informative and the professor got along great with all of his students including myself. He was very outgoing and made the classroom feel more like an open discussion and not a boring, dreadful lecture.

    Course highlights:

Like I said, this course was extremely informative and I had no idea there was so many factors that were involved with daily communication.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be SURE to take notes! Don't always rely on what your book states either, more than likely 9 times out of 10,your professor will point out the specifics you'll need to know for this course and the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Communication is something we all do everyday and we don't really think about how in depth interpersonal communication is. This course opens the eyes to the dynamics of communication and teaches the fundamentals of effective communication.

    Course highlights:

I never realized how much of communication was non-verbal. I learned the difference between being an assertive and an aggressive communicator. I recognized errors in my own communication habits, such as being defensive or failing to be an effective listener. I learned how to modify my own behaviors through assigned exercises that I discussed and/or role played with friends and family.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take this course! It's informative and does an excellent job in raising you self-awareness. Questions are posed to allow for personal reflection and I strongly advise to not be shy or embarrassed about sharing. The more open you are, the more you learn about those around you and yourself.
