Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helps students present exceptional speech speaking skills. It will give them the satisfaction of speaking in front of large crowds, without fear.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to get over my "stage fright." I learned it is very important to write down your thoughts before saying them so you will be well prepared. I have overcome unexpected speeches, such as impromptu speeches, and can now talk to an audience without stuttering.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is perfectly alright to be afraid to speak infront of crowds. Students should know that it is okay to feel uncomfortable and not everyone is perfect. I advise students to try their best, and PRACTICE their speeches and presentations.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Public speaking is a good skill to learn so I do think this is a great class to take, but don't expect an A unless you're a great public speaker

    Course highlights:

Having to do a variety of speeches was helpful because not all speeches will be done the same.. such as a professional presentation vs a congratulatory speech.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

practice your speech beforehand, and TIME IT

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not difficult. Really helps those who struggle with being in front of the class because you know you have to get up there for a grade. You also go in there knowing that you are not the only one that has trouble speaking to groups, and if you know how to organize a paper, you will have an easier time organizing your thoughts.

    Course highlights:

Speeches, speeches; you learn to organize and present.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice, practice, practice! even if you just imagine talking to your audience; go over your speech several times.
