    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is essential in for to successfully write college-level basics. The course was extremely informational, and the required reading that accompanied it helped to provide realistic examples of the everyday uses of the skills learned in the class.

    Course highlights:

The most important thing that I learned from taking this course was the pre-writing process. Knowing how to most effectively plan my essay and get my ideas on paper has been incredibly helpful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest trying as hard as you can to keep up with the reading assignments. I also think that writing everyday (outside of classwork) is very helpful in honing your writing skills.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This English course actually improved my writing abilities way more than any English class in high school ever had, and the instructor was super encouraging and insprirational.

    Course highlights:

I gained some critical writing feedback that I find myself remembering and using in my essays for all my other classes, and I received some helpful feedback in time management from the professor along the way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take all of Professor Dees' advice seriously. She wants the best for you. Listen to her when she tells you to use the ILC/Real Center for feedback on your draft before you turn in the final copy. In fact, you can ask her personally for feedback on your draft directly if you meet her while she's in the REAL Center. Also, take her advice to heart when she tells you to set deadlines for yourself for these mini assignments; it really helps ease any last-minute cramming session you may experience.

    Advice for students:

Put more time into essays, because that ruined me.
