    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Anatomy and physiology is a great class. So much information is shared. Although it requires much reading, all the information serves a purpose in the healthcare field.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course was the body systems portion. Learning the parts and the functions of the heart, lungs, brain, and other organs, are very important. Not only will it help you understand many concept of the human body, it will also train your brain to think critically.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You need to read! Yes, it's very hard to do but it's worth it. Once you read, you will have a basic understanding of the topic. Later in class, you will be able to make connections and ask questions which will help you gain a deeper understanding of the subjects discussed.

    Course Overview:

    Ms Todd was so informative and made class so fun to be in! I would love to have her again!

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about the body, what it consists of, and how things work together in order for us to function everyday.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Definitely study and laminate some diagramns and know where every body part is, what its called, and what it does.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is great if you love biology and have time to really study and get in depth, but if you work full time and are taking other classes, this course will become very challenging very quick.

    Course highlights:

    I have learned a lot of the human body I would never have thought about learning. Just make sure you study every day and find a good way to memorize things.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    make time everyday to study for this course and don't try to wing it.
