Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because despite this course being very challenging, I enjoyed having the fun challenge and asking for help on essays. This course was heavily focused on writing proper essays with correct grammar, punctuation, and works cited pages. Whenever I needed any help on these things, the Professor was always happy to help me improve my skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was being able to discuss essays we read in class in a friendly and proper manner. I also thoroughly enjoyed when the Professor would set aside a class or two to help us with our essays and make sure we asked any questions about things we did not understand. In this class I learned how to participate in discussions about essays I have read and how to annotate said essays. I also learned that it is okay to ask questions when I do not completely understand the task at hand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course I would recommend making sure you know your grammar and verb tenses, as they are very important in this Professors essay assignments. I would also recommend actually reading the essays assigned, almost all class discussions are related to the essays assigned.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The English-111 was three credit hours. The instructor made us sign for an online learning program called MyWritingLab, and was ten percent of the whole grade. MyWritingLab was to let us practice grammar and its related skills, like punctuation and using commas. Also, she used to give us a story to read from a book that was specialized for our community college, and question us on it like a warm-up. These quizzes represented fifteen percent of the whole grade. This course gives you a good practice for well-written-essays.

    Course highlights:

What distinguishes this class from any other English one is the huge amount of writing. I learned how to transfer my ideas and thought to readers. I learned how to be clear and eliquate.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There were three big essays in that class; they presented 60% of the whole grade. So, definitely give your essays more than your best, consider it a life or death issue because if you mess up on one you truly harmed your grade without any hope of compensation. There were other assignments like quizzes on reading and homework, but that is not a big problem because it is normal in every class you take. However, it is not normal to write an essay that is roughly one-third of your grade in ten days. Finish the essays early and go to the instructor's office and ask for a review, do it more than once per essay so you can get the least losses.
