    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Sandy Pittman uses this class as a hobby for her love of music. Having a professor who teaches what they love, makes the class more appealing and exciting. And Mrs. Pittman does just that.

    Course highlights:

I learned alot about classical music and the composers during that time. Classical music isn't boring, I learned that it is beautiful and Mrs. Pittman makes you appreciate it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a open mind with the music selection. Take down notes and be familiar with what composer did which piece.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class to you if you are a fan of music. You'll learn a lot about the different forms of music and learn the different terms and timelines for each era of music you come across.

    Course highlights:

I've learned all about melody, form, tempo, timbre, dynamics and meter. I've also been exposed to different listening assignments and to pick out which parts of a song is polyphonic, homophonic, and monophonic. I love listening to music in this class and working with others to discuss the music played in the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen very carefully to the listening assignments. Do your homework and study well for the tests. If you study well and pay attention to the teacher, you'll be able to pass the class. Also, take really good notes to study because you'll need the information for the finals and tests.
