    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Roundtree doesn't really as for much from his students, he simply expects them to attend and engage in class discussions, You're basically promised an A in the course if you show effort.

    Course highlights:

My highlight of the class was definitely the various class discussions about modern issues, and the professor's willingness to hear our opinions. My key takeaway is that you don't have to be lectured in order to learn about what will prepare you for the real world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

ATTEND EVERY CLASS, I promise that by the end of the course perfect attendance won't be overlooked by the professor. Also don't be afraid to present useful ideas to the professor and to the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in furthering your education in African American Culture this is the perfect class to take. Dr. Roundtree is an amazing teacher and delivers the material very well.

    Course highlights:

With this course I learned a few interesting topics. I learned about the history of African America family reunions and soul food as well as the First African American entertainers that opened the door for celebrities such as Beyonce, Kevin Hart, Viola Davis, and Barack Obama. My favorite subject was on civil rights. Before taking this course I did not know who Vernon Johns was but now I know that he was a pioneer in the civil rights movement.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class attendance is key. You never know when Dr. Roundtree is going to announce an assignment and if you miss class, therefore, missing the assignment your grade will suffer.
