    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course to any new incoming freshman attending Winston-Salem State University. It is a simple and straightforward course that helps one start the basic of college English.

    Course highlights:

I gained the bases of English, such as the rules for writing formal essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to be very involved and ready to write essays! Although writing essays seems like a lot, the way Mr. Cureton goes about it is actually a very fun and entertaining way. Don't wait until the last moment to start on an essay as well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you are strengthening your writing skills and also with the topics giving you are learn to grow an interest into them. For example we did a paper about African American Muslims. I didn't really have a lot of thought on them, but we were able to choose our own person. After doing my reach I being see things a little different not thinks all Muslims are them same but have a set of goals. Not even just that you see how one person can have such an impact on others.

    Course highlights:

Meeting the guest speaker. And also the in class discussing. Learning about things you never really paid attention to because it may not mean nothing to you but does to others

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Going to this school you have to take an English course so I would recommend taking this one. The teacher is very helpful so do not be scared to ever ask for help
