    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    You have to take this class if you are a nursing major at Winston-Salem State because it is a pre-requisite.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about different diseases.

    My advice would be to study really hard and really study for the tests.

    Course Overview:

    Dr Porter Kelly pushes your knowledge base and you really leave having learned about micro!

    Course highlights:

    Our bacterial unknown project, allowed us to utilize the bacterial staining and biochemical test yo identify an unknown organism. Through this project, the purpose of the various test became more clear.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take really good notes, lecture slides aren't posted until a day or two before an exam, so study has to be done from class notes and text book.
