    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course to math majors, especially those who plan on continuing their math studies in graduate school. This course is tough though. Don’t let it defeat you!

    Course highlights:

This course is all about definitions and proofs. Reading the textbook is a must, so do not attempt this course without purchasing the textbook. Memorize the definitions because you will have to use them in your proof statements. The wording of your proofs is what will earn or take away from your points, so be very specific! It will seem very difficult at first but don’t give up!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just like you would do in a English composition course, let the instructor see your proofs so he can edit and revise them. It may seem like he's marking it all up at first, but he's trying to get you to understand that your reasoning must be airtight (no room for error or question). Also, open your mind. This is not your average math course. And most of all, stay persistent and don't give up! You can do this! I did!
