    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor does an excellent job at explaining the content in a way that helps students retain the information. She is so upbeat and adds the perfect amount of humor to each lesson. She is very real and brings in her own life experiences, which make the course that much more interesting! There is very minimal homework and the exams are on the material in class- a study guide is available!

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of how society works and why some people act the way the do and why some people do the things they do. There was not one lesson that didn't open up my eyes a little bit.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class, as the professor does an excellent job teaching the course- which makes studying for exams a lot easier. Since there are not many homework assignments or exams, be prepared for each one!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It gives an overall view of sociology, its history and context. The study of people and their interactions are becoming even more important. Everyone should know about Intersectionality, everyone should learn about what makes good studies, and how to read and comprehend scientific research.

    Course highlights:

The constant guide to always examine things through a critical lens was the biggest highlight.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

They may ask you to do something weird, go for it. You'd be surprised how much different you feel after purposely violating a cultural norm, like facing the wrong way in an elevator.
