I am currently in this class and I'm learning more than I ever thought I would.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He was a good professor and is a great help if you go to his office hours. He's also quick to answer e-mails. I've received e-mails from him at 11 at night. However, he leaned a bit too heavy on the chemistry videos as a learning tool. I personally wish he did more lecturing.

    Course highlights:

We went through thermodynamics, nuclear energy, entropy, enthalpy, and gas laws to name a few concepts covered.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though they give you some of the formulas for exams; they do not give you all of them! Know your formulas because they will not give you any of the formulas for the final exam. Watch the videos, they help a lot. This is General Chemistry II so review material from General Chemistry I because you are expected to know basic knowledge.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Shaina is the best instructor to take this class from @ UND for sure! This class can be hard, but she is more than willing to spend all the time you need explaining and helping students who utilize her office hours.

    Course highlights:

Lots of topics covered...acid/base equilibrium, electrochemistry, nuclear, intro to organic, etc

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the ACS general chemistry exam book and use it to study for the final, doing well on the final with the curve that is applied can make a HUGE difference in your grade at the end of the semester. Memorize equations along the way even though they are given on the midterm exams.
