Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it provides a great deal of useful information and thoroughly prepares you for the next course you have to take.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed that the majority of the work was online and was due a week from the date it was assigned which allowed me to complete it when I had the time, as my schedule was busy with other classes and work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You should definitely make flash cards on the content as it is given to you because it will help immensely when it comes time for tests. Also, printing off the notes beforehand and taking extra notes along side is a must. You won't have time to write everything down.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Dr. Konopka's lecture because she is passionate about biology and keeps the 75 minute lecture interesting by posting PowerPoint slides online before class and asking clicker questions during which students can converse with their neighbors.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights were the leniency of the clicker questions as attendance points, and if students got over 80 percent of the questions correct, they would receive 100 percent on attendance, which only helps the overall grade. It was mostly a review for me because I had taken AP Biology in high school, but this course had just a few more details than in AP.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always attend lecture and answer clicker questions. Pay attention in lecture. Go over the slides and clicker questions the night before. Do the "Before Class (BC)" quizzes and review the vocabulary.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is the best class. The professor is very friendly. The tests are interesting and you get to learn many important things.

    Course highlights:

I got to learn evolution in this class. And this class is useful for my major.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Visit professor during his office hours, this helps a lot. And do not hesitate to ask any doubts.
