    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bach to Rock has a pretty cool name, so I was disappointed when I found the course wasn't so cool. I thought we would be learning about the early beginnings of rock n'roll, and we did towards the end of the semester. But we only watched videos of rock from the 1950s-1990s. He really didn't teach us much about that time period. Most of the class was classical music and made me want to sleep. Also, he gave us many tests. Most of the material we learned in class had nothing to do with the material on the test.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn much besides "Motown" music originated in Detroit, Michigan and that Jimi Hendrix could play guitar with both hands.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Write down all the notes he gives. But if you miss a few, don't stress because he posts his powerpoints on Springboard.
