Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor's first language is Japanese and knows what she is talking about. She was able to not only teach the class what the formal and informal language in Japan but also tell us about Japan's culture. Her classes were well paced and mixed writing, speaking, and reading together in an easy to understand class.

    Course highlights:

The teaching method she uses is through and well done. She practices the correct ways of writing both hiragana and katakana while slowly bringing these writing styles in the class. There were skits that we had to memorize in Japanese and say in front of the class that helped our confidence and our speaking ability.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You do have to study the homework. The homework the professor gives goes hand in hand with the lesson and helps greatly with both your grade and your learning ability.
