This class was tough.
I would definitely recommend this course because you get to learn both macro and micro economics in one semester, the professor is also amazing at teaching and keeping you engaged in the class.
The highlights of the course were learning about both micro and macro economics and learning the difference between the two. Micro is more about the small details in economics, while macro is dealing with the bigger picture. This course honestly helped me learn more about our economy and how it works. Taking the course Introduction to Business in the Global Environment and the course Essentials of Management Technology really helped with the vocabulary in the Survey of Basic Economics course. I do not think I would have been able to understand some of the terms as quickly as I did otherwise, and it definitely helped me cut some study time!

Advice for students:
I would definitely advise any one wanting to take this course to take it seriously. If you don't, once midterms come around you are definitely going to regret not studying more. The weekly quizzes and homework should also be taken seriously seeing as they are worth a good majority of your grade and WILL impact your final grade in the course. Pay attention to the lectures, seeing as the majority of what you talk about in the class will be on the quizzes and homework. The professor is also very helpful and understanding to any situations, she even gives out extra credit if you participate in class! One last note, there is a final paper! Do not forget to turn it in, the paper will determine whether you know the material learned in the course or not, and ultimately, whether or not you can pass the course with a C minimum.
