Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Eames loves her students, and has a vested interest in each of them. She's nice, happy, and her quizzes are often taken from the homework.

    Course highlights:

The class, while a faster pace than during the semester, was not unbearable. I do believe that one could learn all one would need from this class over the summer, although Chapter 11 (Sequences and Series) and Chapter 10 (Polar and Parametric Equations) might be a bit harder to fully grasp over the course of a week. However, Dr. Eames is very good about her office hours and answering any questions by email, so with dedication, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to get an 'A' in the class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind. Time is of the essence in a summer course, especially Calc 2. This course requires a lot of dedication and studying: if you are unsure of a concept or idea JUST ASK. It's better to ask and to understand than to be overconfident and fail. You have your future on the line: GRASP IT. GO FOR IT. BELIEVE IT.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking Dr. Kevin Kreider. His teaching style is fantastic, and he is available for extra help if needed.

    Course highlights:

In this course you learn multiple topics. Everything from trigonometry to series is covered. However, Kreider does not throw you into anything unprepared, and there are take-home quiz problems that are exactly like the ones you can expect on the exams.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework problems in the book! I did them, and I was very happy I did. Not only are they similar to the quiz and exam problems, but occasionally they are exactly the same.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a difficult course, but my professor made it a lot easier to understand. Makes all other math classes seem easier

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot of different way to take integrals and solve series.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework for this course. You need a lot of practice because there is a decent amount of memorization needed to succeed in this class.
