Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor for this course was very involved and continously helping and finding better ways for us to learn.

    Course highlights:

The different ways technology was used and how it can be adapted for the use in a classroom.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The more comfortable you are with technology, the easier it will be.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class mainly because of my professor. She worked with me specifically to help me understand subjects. She understands that students have lives outside of class and that not everyone learns the same way. I love that she would help modify assignments to work around my schedule. I believe that under her instruction, I took a lot away from the class.

    Course highlights:

After taking instructional technology I felt as though I would be able to set up a SmartBoard presentation for students any day. I understand now how important technology is becoming in every day classrooms. My professor did a great job of making sure that students understood everything in a lecture before she moved on. The group projects my professor put together were memorable. The projects were fun, hands on and relevant to a future in my field of study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise everyone to always be present in class. So much happens in a short class period and since the professor does not like to give a lot of homework, class time is valuable. Always come ready to work with others and ready to learn something new.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

At the start of this course, I didn't think much about using technology in my future classroom. Upon completion of this class, however, I now understand the importance of technology in an effort to stay relevant in a society dominated by tech as well as to aid in the learning process.

    Course highlights:

This class required me to look into different technological resources; this was excellent, as I now have an arsenal of technological tools already tried and fully researched for use in my classroom once I become a teacher!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are looking at your assignments early on in the week. Start on these assignments early, too. Trust me, this class is not the sort that is easy to accomplish all tasks at the last minute! Your grades may suffer if you try to do this.
