Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely beneficial to my long term success at Grand Canyon University. This course had me explore my classroom, and practice submitting assignments. This course gave me the confidence to continue my education, and the tools to be successful.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to navigate the classroom efficiently, and where/how to look for additional help. I had many questions and difficulties trying to learn this new way of education (online) but the staff and instructors showed me their endless patience and knowledge with me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To any student taking University Success, I recommend you taking this class seriously. It may seem simple or unimportant; but it is the most important fundamentals you can learn. I also warn you that you will get very overwhelmed very quickly, but that it does get better; it just takes a little practice. Let your instructor know how you are feeling, and they will always help you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me so much about how to be successful in an online school setting. I am still using the tools I gained in that class for present classes. It helped acclimate me to the university.

    Course highlights:

I learned about SMART goals at the beginning of class. I began to understand how important it is to set a goal and then strive for it. Without setting goals, one cannot achieve their ultimate future. I also learned how to correctly write papers, using Grand Canyon University's format. It is definitely a class worth taking!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the content seriously. It will help you throughout your college career, and into your future career, as well as help you in life in general. I would not have felt nearly as prepared for school if I hadn't taken this class.
